Three daughters, one ex dance teacher mum and a tolerant husband. I used to have highlights in my hair, now I pretend there are highlights to housework.
I am intending to be more organised in 2011 by trying to set up regular a system of what chores to do when so it becomes like second nature to me. I also intend to set aside time for exercise and family fun time. I'd love to schedule "me time" too, because when I'm more relaxed I'm a better wife and mum.
Well I intend to be more organised but implementing a loosish kinda schedule that fits my flexible lifestyle. I am also going to improve my time management skills and lessen the amount of time spent brainlessly clicking away. Either one of these too great prizes would help me endlessly
No plans to be more organised for 2011 as such. If anything, I need to calm the organising aspect of my personality down a bit (my boss takes advantage, which sucks). So 2011 is about delegating more and going slower, like I have been in the past two months - it's been a breath of fresh air :-)
I think I just need to stop procrastinating and just do things, then I would be more organised because I wouldn't waste so much time thinking about doing things and I would actually achieve something.
I have just started using a online planner that syncs with my iPhone and my Outlook calender at work. It's called Cozi and it works like a charm. It has other perks, like a place for shopping lists, to do's and a family journal. I just so need the calender. I am a constant "Oh, that was today!?" person. :)
I absolutely must be more organised this year! I work for 3 companies now & doing it all from home so it's imperative I organise my life to satisfy my $ paying bosses as well as my 2 other bosses who pay me with love :) and satisfy the boss inside me who must get relax time in ultra hectic 2011! My plan is to utilise calendars to block time out for family and work better & structure each day to 'tick the boxes' of my lenghty to do lists. Thanks for awesome block Nic - keep up the good work!
