Three daughters, one ex dance teacher mum and a tolerant husband. I used to have highlights in my hair, now I pretend there are highlights to housework.

A rough day
Today was not a good day. It was one of those days when the kids press every button you have and then they invent a few more so they can press those too. There was yelling and stomping and tantrum throwing and that was just me! It was not pretty or fun and I am not proud of my behaviour. But then at 2 O'clock my lovely friend the divine Ms M turned up with her kids and a bottle of pink sparkling wine. The kids played, we drank, it was fabulous and I felt much better by the time she left. To make it even better the kids proceeded to behave like little angels for the rest of the afternoon and evening and are now sound asleep in bed. Sigh, one of those days, live and learn.

yes none of us a perfect, we have all had those days where our dreams of being more than the perfect mother are shattered, where we turn not only on out children but also ourselves. Remember that tomorrow is a new day and children, bless their little hearts can be very forgiving.
